Yet this board was pissed when they thought we were hiring Bianco and Ole Miss was looking at Godwin.

No it’s really not. I don’t know what some of you have been smoking, but this is not fantasy land. Mulkey and Jimbo leaving their jobs is not something that just happens all the time. It could be a failure depending on the contract he gets though. Hate to break it to you, but not everyone is as high on Vitello as this board. There’s very few coaches I have ahead of him, but paying him almost double the highest paid coach is getting is pretty insane, IMO

Godwin would be a great hire. There is no stand out must hire to me. Except maybe Corbin. Woodward could announce Godwin,Vitelo,McDonnel,Corbin or even the Arizona coach. I'd be like,"that'll work"....

What are the real negatives of the extended search besides upsetting our unstable fanbase? The transfer portal in mid-July is all I've seen and that is weeks away.

THe proper thing to do would be to conduct an interview with all parties, if terms are acceptable.
All this time means is that we are going to interview coaches still playing, that doesn't mean they will be hired or they are the best fit.
