That list is incredibly bad

anyone who puts OBJ over Landry at LSU is delusional.

I'll say this. Josh Reed was the best for getting yards after catching the ball. It is what made him so great. If you are just talking pure wide receiver then maybe Chase but you didn't have Wendell Davis on the list. Can only imagine what he would have done in this offense with Burrow. And was tearing it up in NFL before his knees were blown by that awful field in Philly or Chicago. Can't remember which one it was.

So chase is most everyone’s #1

I think the fact that Chase had a Heisman QB helped him a lot. If Clayton had Joe Burrow as his QB, we are talking overall #1 in draft for Clayton. He was a monster

I’d have to give Reed the #1 spot and chase at a close second. I was at the 2001 Bama game when Reed and Rohan shredded the gump secondary. Was unreal, esp in that era of CFB.

If we're imagining that Burrow was throwing the ball to all of them, I'd go:

Reed
Chase
Landry
Clayton
OBJ
Doucet

There's definitely a top 3 grouping close to each other and then a small distance and then the bottom 3 are close to each other. All of them were amazing college WRs, though. If you get into NFL careers, it changes a bit, sure.

Chase. But he did have the benefit of not playing for Les Miles. Put Landry on the 2019 team it’d be a much tougher decision.

Can you imagine OBJ in the 2019 offense? Even more than Landry, OBJ thrived with spacing because he’d kill you after the catch.

He’d have been otherworldly.

Between Chase and Landry. Landry made two of the best catches I have ever seen, both against Arkansas. Juice is the definition of a football player

Clayton and Landry were two of my favorites. Their blocking and overall "toughness," was fun to watch and impressive. For pure receiving talent, it's hard to not like Chase, Jefferson and OBJ.

Chase, then Reed. Landry is one of my favorites because he was more than just a great WR, he was a monster on special teams as well.

Yes. My list is probably a little clumsy towards the end, but Marshall over Buster Davis. Marshall led the country in TDs before his ankle break in 19 and the opt out last season.

Agree. Chase was great, but you also have the Burrow/Brady factor. All those other WR's played in a much less advantageous situation.

It's Jarvis for me. Give him that many targets with Burrow/Brady and he too wins the Biletnikoff.

Chase - 24 games - 2093 yards
Reed - 23 games - 2893 yards

One quit on his team and had almost 1000 yards less. This isn’t a debate. Josh reed and then chase.
