Your post
“I didnt Say he had 19 targets a game but we pumped him the ball.”
Also your post
“Chase is #1 because he wasn’t force fed 19 passes a game.”

Those two were equals during their time at LSU. OBJ was drafted higher because he is faster. Landry has the best hands I’ve seen in my 30 years of watching LSU. Landry is also the toughest dude to play a skill position at LSU.

Eddie Kennison hands down.....

By any metric, it is Chase. Greatest single season any LSU receiver has ever had. He owns the LSU single season yardage and TD records. National Champion and biletnikoff winner, and the highest draft choice among LSU receivers ever!

This should tell you something. Clayton is #2, only one catch behind #1 Wendell Davis on the all time LSU reception leaders list...and he only played 3 years while Davis played 4. He is also one of the only LSU players to play both ways in the modern era. I can't remember another player that did that. He started both ways or played alot on defense at safety as well vs Texas in the cotton bowl. He was a hell of an athlete and one of the best overall football players to ever play for lsu. There's no doubt about that.

Reed had 1,936 yards in 2001 in 13 games
Chase had 1,780 yards in 2019 in 14 games

That one year where our offense consisted of Rohan throw it as far as you can & Reed go get it.

When he would catch it or when he would catch and hold it. I never thought of him as clutch.

Dwayne bowe belongs on list. Not the best but should be on there

It’s definitely between Reed and Chase. My pick would be Chase but recency bias is what’s getting me. Reed was really, really good but many people forget, he was actually a RB converted to WR.

Which one?

Eric Martin, Wendell Davis, and Carlos Carson should be on there.

Hard to argue against Chase.
It isn’t. Reed had almost 1000 yards more in less games.

Dude had those Velcro hands. Still the LSU receptions leader

If y’all talking just at LSU it’s Josh Reed and it’s not even close
