Who would want to live and coach here? Who would want to raise a family here? The poorest State in the nation, the #1 crime city in the nation, crumbling educational system, high unemployment, hell, the FB HC has to donate his salary to buy players. We have to go bargain basement discount shopping in the portal every season, our tailgate parties are more famous than our teams and when you watch a game in TS you have to endure this god awful light show, hip hop music and the vulgarity of the student section, and shootings on campus during the games. I mean in all honesty, what gives any HC here reason to be happy?

I was a staunch supporter of Kelly believing that we were doing a lot right.

The Sloan debacle has killed my support.

OC has no red zone offense and was running the ball in long yardage downs late in the game down by a TD.

Down by 10 and on the 2 yard line we ended up having to kick a 20 yard field goal.

Dude has no clue and that falls on Kelly.

Amazing how many people here love to defend mediocrity

Those defending him last week apparently didn't see USCe shoot themselves in the foot repeatedly. That game could have had a different outcome.

We shot ourselves in the foot way more often than they did in that game. It was really not as close as the score indicated.

i thought Kelly would be good at LSU. Then after repeatedly hiring bad coordinators and staff, I came to realize he is a CEO coach - like Bobby Bowden or Joe Paterno at the end of their careers. He expects the coordinators and position coaches to do all the work. Kelly can’t fix anything. He doesn’t know how.

I supported him but he doesnt want to hire the best coordinators at each position. Look at the defense in years past hiring for on the job training. Polian was horrible at ND in special teams.

Sloan has no business being OC yet retained for 2 years.

I get the impression he has such a high opinion of his coaching that he thinks can slack off at several coaching positions.

Just using Bowden and Paterno as examples of CEO coaches.

Agreed. Not yet to turn on him.
We are 5 and 2 with our backs against the wall. He needs to coach his arse off to get to 10-3. And we should back him if he does.

Sure there are. The Saints have been doing it for years. That’s part of the problem.
