The University of Miami is a top 30 rated university in the country. Far higher than LSU in nearly every academic field. I'm using an old acer with slow service at the moment. So some words don't come out correctly. But trust me, you don't want to have an academic argument between the schools. UM is second to only Stanford in athletic graduation rates. (:

Now I'm confident that you're just a pumper. A young pumper at that. Miami will give LSU a game BUT will not dominate LSU pal. You know LSU plays in the SEC? It's well known for defensive speed and especially along the DL and I haven't seen a DL dominate any LSU OL the way you make it sound.

It will come down to who takes advantage of the mistakes made, who makes the least mistakes and who's STs plays perfect football. I think the offensive numbers will look very similar for each team. Around 300 yards total. This is the first game for Miami also not just LSU. Your OL is nothing special bro. All it takes is one look at them playing together and it's very clear.

The fact that one of our transfers was in the running to start, tells me a great deal as well. Another huge advantage LSU has is that Miami has no idea what our offense will look like nor do they have film of our QBs, RBs, WRs, and some of the OLman. Aranda is also expanding the defensive scheme to be much more movement and confusion with the fact that we have AA type of players all over the defense.

Miami will have to rely on your QB to make great decisions all game long and that will be the difference in this game. Burrow is more accurate and calm while Miami will take more chances which will come back to bite them. I see LSU getting around 5 or 6 sacks in this game. 2 picks and another TO at some point. LSU wins 27-17.

It sounds to me like he is saying every player on the team has progressed. I also love when they say rosier isn't awful, just isn't accurate. Translation, against good defenses he struggles mightily.

Thanks for the ration and I'm curios to sea if you're team can enfact mustard 20 plus pernts

As a University of Texas graduate, I must say that I'm quite impressed with the English professors at Miami. Certainly nothing like I was exposed to in my graduate program.

The way to negate a good dl and compensate for an ok oline is to not hold the ball long and pick the defense apart with short intermediate passing game and move the chains. 2001 when we played ole miss, David Cutcliffe used that for ball control against Saban when he was our coach and to keep the chains moving. If we use that, we can compensate for our oline and keep the cains dl from teeing off and pressuring our qb. Wear down the defense and then let our defense pin its ears back and as a poster said " play like the cains offense owes them money".

You're not scoring 24 points...this game will be a field goal game. LSU wins.

Rosier isn’t awful he just can be inconsistent. We will see what he does this year but before the shoulder injury in the unc game he was doing pretty good. Still finished with 3200 yards passing 26 tds 14 ints 480 yards rushing 5 tds in his first year starting. That’s not that bad.

Counting up until the North Carolina game, the W-L record for those teams would be 44-42. Take out Toledo's 11-3 record and you are left with 33-39 Won Loss record for the teams he faced up to the North Carolina game. So against mediocre defenses and run of the mill teams, he has good stats.

What are those numbers when he goes up against stout defenses? Some players flourish when they are pressured, others fold. What is Rosier's MO? Some players are clutch, some fold. Which is he?

I can tell you this, against teams with 9 wins last season (4 of them), Im not going to actually count Toledo, lol, (Virginia Tech, Notre Dame, Wisconsin and Clemson, he was
51-101 / 652 yds / 4 td / 8 int / 163 yds per game passing average.

That tells me he is going to struggle against LSU defense and Miami might put up 10 pts. Pick 6 by hurricanes d might give them 17 pts. As accurate as Burrow is and picking apart defenses in the short to intermediate game, it will probably be a long night for the canes. 23-10 LSU.

I'll bet you any amount of money you want that Miami's offense doesn't put up 24 points.

Miami hasnt lost a SINGLE starter. The olineman who was hurt had been running with backups all summer. The TE was at best a backup because we brought in the #1/#3 TEs in the country. Brevin jordan had already surpassed the TE who got hurt. Miami is loaded and ready. And that mediocre QB accounted for 31tds last year in his first year started. You better hope burrow can duplicate.

Actually no. Rosier struggled againsf subpar teams. He played extremely well against FSU. And the 1st half against WISC without our 3 best offensive weapons. Miami at full strength last year was against ND. Healthiest of the season. 41-8 we won. You guys played them too.. Lol what was the outcome?
