2 of the secondary was just mocked in the first round today

Completely subjective depending on who you look at. For example, Draftwire has 2 LSU defensive players in 1st round and UM with 1. LSU 2 rd 1vs Um 1 rd1

In addition, I just saw that McShay had both Greedy and White in his top 10 players for the 2019 draft. I didn’t see any UM players on the list.

For the record, I think early mock drafts are stupid. You’ve lost one of your best OL and starting TE, and your QB’s ceiling is mediocre.

LSU may not light the scoreboard up, but you better hope you can score with ST and D.

ETA: Canes fan named Brodie is terrific. Perfect troll?

I love y'alls ends, and the linebackers might be the best in college as a unit. But Willis is a waste. He has poor hands at the point of attack and can be pushed around easily because of lack of leverage. Wouldn't be a terrible rotational or situational player but is not a DOMINANT interior lineman needed to stuff the run. Granted that was like 2 or 3 years ago film on him since he chose to sit out last year for personal reasons.

Remember the dline coach Craig kuligowksi who was at Mizzou all of those years and now at bama? He trained Willis for 2 years and Willis has really reshaped his body and he has been pretty dominant in practices. This isn’t the same Willis of old, he’s done a complete 180 in terms of attitude and how he treats his teammates. It’s really great to see turn around stories like that and coach richt absolutely loves the guy

Those list are subjective for sure but those guys are the real deal period.

Best olineman Miami had last year imo was Tyree St. Louis who is our Left tackle right now who was really good in pass blocking.

The guy I think You are referring to is kc McDermott who may have graded out pretty good according to pff but he got beat far too often.

Miami signed the #1 te in the country last year and he’s already starting 2 weeks into practices and making big plays.

Rosier isn’t awful he just can be inconsistent. We will see what he does this year but before the shoulder injury in the unc game he was doing pretty good. Still finished with 3200 yards passing 26 tds 14 ints 480 yards rushing 5 tds in his first year starting. That’s not that bad.

Believe when I say LSU better be really ready for this one. This isn't the same miami of the past 15 years and believe me, it isn't the same Richt. No matter what anyone says. This season will show it. Miami has serious offensive weapons all over the field and our OL (despite what people think/posted who don't know) is VASTLY improved from last year. Rosier still isn't "Great". But believe he will show that night that even he has improved. Our defense is no joke. Great DEs who can beat you with everything (look out for Joe Jackson 99/97 Garvin hall. You'll see them on real sundays soon. They are STUDS). Our LBs/DBs are big time strength. KNowing CFB and following the tigers, I normally expect stud Defensive players and no matter what I know LSU defense going to travel and NOT LOSE the game. The problem LSU will face and you guys will see in no later than by the halftime, is your offensive line is a power base OL. Miami biggest issues if any is when we face a offensive line with five athletic quick guys to counter our quickness. THat's why clemson did what they want. ND who had two top 10 picks at OL and we beat them with speed. You can't overpower our d-line. It plays into our hands. And I believe it will on the sunday of the game. LSU biggest trumpcard if you will will be if Burrow can beat us with great accuracy under direst from the pocket. If LSU QB is able to not be confused by our blitzes and torch our secondary under direst (like wisc/clem/pitt) did, you'll win. And you'll have to do this to beat miami. I guarantee Miami offense will be potent enough through the air/ground to mustard 24 points 100%. It's a book it. I think LSU would fair much better if this game was midseason. Unless Burrow is a all season steal at QB and will be a conf performer, he won't survive without giving the ball away. Miami kicking game is not a plus. It's really bad. We have a true freshman with a power leg but iffy accuracy. He won't make a kick in this game. 28-17 LSU scores a late 4th quarter TD to make it seem closer than it was. Miami is a 11 win team this year. I think LSU is just a notch below. Coach O really has not kept up with the recruiting that Miles/Saban had. LSU last year opening day wins this game against miami. This year, no dice.

Jim Crow?! Lmao did this fukin clow just go there. Listen weirdo I know the majority of Miami fans are new to this whole “football debate” thing but the fact of the matter is Miami’s roster is worse than it was last year and they snuck by a division 2 schedule and beat 2 good teams AT HOME (they get waxed if either of those games are in South Bend or Blacksburg). Were finally EXPOSED by Clemson and Wisconsin. You can scream turnover chain and bs about swag until you are blue in the face but the fact of the matter is LSU’s roster is just better. Whether that translates into a win we’ll see but all this confidence miami fans have is truely mind boggling.

To be fair, I think both QBs are going to get their bells rung more than once.

THis game is going to come down to a defensive TD, or something generated through special teams.

This. I expect both Os to have trouble moving the ball against good defenses first game of the year.

No matter what anyone here says, we have NO idea what our offense can or can't do. I think Miami is more predictable in that respect.

No outcome would surprise me...its one of these

LSU by a lot
LSU by a little
Miami by a little

I don't think aranda allows a blowout

It was a 6 point game 27-21 with 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter without Miami’s top 3 offensive weapons. How is that getting exposed? Clemson I give You and it was definitely a beat down

I cite Todd McShay and you claim the fricking bleacher report as a credible source? Is your name Brodie?

Didn’t know who your 2nd link was. The little information about him is that he works for Draftwire. The same outfit that I cited earlier.

I don’t blame you for being excited about your team. I blame you for being ignorant.

I’ve only alluded to the fact that we have talent and will be tough to score on. I’m sure you can find someone else predicting a 30 point win, but I’m not your guy.

First of all I said a Mock draft today and obviously wasn’t referring to mcshay as his released 2 days ago. SoI’m not getting why you are really mad for? Bottomline Miami has plenty of talent on its defense so don’t sleep on it. Definitely not sleeping on lsu’s and i Know about the talent at receiver LSU got

I’m staying away from predictions with this game as well. We will see, can’t wait
