White helmet, Purple jersey, White pants is the cleanest look in all of CFB.

That purple/yellow look needs to geaux. I get queasy when the team runs out on the field in those unis.

Thought we shorted up the shoulder stripes back to normal. Those look like the ones a few years back that never looked right because the material now is tighter and different than 50 years ago.

* Maybe the practice/ picture uniforms are different?

I see what they are doing with these photoshoots for these guys, but doesn’t mean I don’t think it’s not stupid.

The all white with the white helmet needs to be worn more.

I disagree. They look too much like South Carolina and Auburn.

Can someone at LSU PLEASE make the striping on the helmet the same as the striping on the jersey and pants!

The striping in the white/purple/white set matches, except that the gold stripes on the shoulder pads are oversized.

They don’t match with the all-whites because they’re using our normal white jerseys - which, ironically, don’t actually match the helmet/pants in our traditional gold/white/gold combo either.

It sticks out with the all-whites because you expect the stripes to be the same when each piece is the same base color. The other sets are fine because the jersey is a different color, so you don’t really notice even if the shoulder stripes don’t match.

Are we even wearing Nike next year? The contract runs out this summer I believe.

I loved the all whites against A&M. I’d be ok wearing them against some SEC teams. Arkansas, A&M and our rotating east opponent. The rest of the conference games need to be the gold white golds.

I’d be real mad if they trotted out in all whites to take on Ole Miss or Bama. It drives me crazy when Ole Miss trots out in some new alternates in the Magnolia Bowl. Certain games must be kept traditional.

Nobody in their right mind is getting Auburn and South Carolina confused with LSU. Not a chance.

I think we should retire the purple/gold. Wear the purple/white for nonconference home games. I don't love the white/white but the recruits apparently do so an every so often thing wouldn't be so bad. Do it for the home conference opener.
