I thought it actually odd he went out of his way to answer the question that way at halftime. He may know Brennan is not going to be it but does not want to cause any locker room stuff.

Which makes this a really tough position for Brennan. The consensus was Brennan or Daniels. Now you have a legitimate third candidate. Does he stay and continue competing with two other guys and risk his final year of eligibility on a bench? After getting outperformed today? If he were my son, I’m recommending to go elsewhere.

You need to relax. You just don’t have the data to evaluate these guys. A QB can’t really be evaluated until everyone knows their assignments backwards and forwards AND they are scouting defenses and loading the QB with pre-snap and post snap reads. We are not there yet.

Kelly said in one of his Press Conferences, don't count him out. He has been very impressive fitting balls into narrow windows, while under pressure.

Why is there ever a reason not to play and possibly take control of the team. Again, he would have been the incoming starter and an entirely different mindset. I think he ends up transferring. I've been told...hes a great kid and loves LSU. But the Daniels situation sucks for him, and Walker will take over after.
Why not play, and return to LSU as the starter? Earn the teams respect and leadership.
But he passed, for no reason other than selfishness that wouldn't matter in long run
Plus, you fight that 3 years from now and ncaa caves. They weren't going to open that box ahead of the situation.

Before the Game It pissed me off that he essentially passed on getting to start for LSU in a fukn Bowl Game!
After seeing the piss-poor excuse for a Team that was trotted out by LSU vs KSU (no fault of the guys that stayed & played that game), I could at least understood why him & his Pops decided to pass on the supposed “Opportunity”. Nuss may have irreparably damaged his psyche & confidence as a QB!
