You don't really see anything LSU up here in Columbus.
Though, I have seen one Blazer before in Columbus that was loaded with LSU gear on the back.

The bigger question is...you are in California with millions of things to do,why a garlic festival?

I am starting to notice stores carrying a little more LSU apparel out here. After the NC game, I went to stores looking for stuff and there was nothing to be found. I told them that it is insulting for them not to carry stuff for the national champs when they have stuff for much lesser schools that aren't in CA. Don't think it's because of me that they now stock stuff but it's nice to see.

I saw many people in NYC earlier this summer wearing LSU shirts

Nice job CaLSUTIGERFAN, the only other time I saw an LSU fan out here was one day when I was in San Francisco and a tiger fan saw me wearing a shirt and yelled Geaux Tigers across the street and I yelled back at him. It was sweet.
Seriously the Garlic Festival was good. It was huge and had a ton of people. Between the food, music, and women, I had no complaints about going. It sounds lame in theory but it was good times.
I think next time I see someone in LSU gear I'll yell Geaux Tigers and see how they respond.

quote:I have learned to 'pick my spots' with the tiger bait thing, especially during the baseball series with Texas and so may people wearing UT gear didn't even know LSU-Texas were playing for a championship...morons...
The other day I was at the mall and a guy in a FLorida t-shirt walked by ~ I tiger baited him and he looked at me like I was crazy. Obviously not a real UF fan

Thats the difference between the Texas fan base and the LSU fan base. I think everyone in the state of Louisiana knew that LSU was going for the CWS title.

I wear my LSU all over the place (travel alot with job) and get lots of Geaux Tigers! I particularly enjoy when I am in other SEC towns or areas just to watch people get pissed when I walk by with that Sh**-eating grin on my face...prolly gonna get an A**-whippin at some point but oh well!!!

I live in San Francisco. Whenever I walk around with an LSU cap, I usually get comments from someone. And when I see someone with LSU shirt/hat, it usually someone who is on vacation from Louisiana or used to live in Louisiana. Most typically it's someone originally from Louisiana who moved out here.
There are more of us Louisiana transplants in other parts of the country than you think.

Iwas in Tahoe last week at the celebrity golf tourny wearing an LSU visor,Emmit Smith walked passed me and said "your tigers couldn't tackle me"this was unprovoked as I said nothing. He was really cutting up with everyone. He was playing with Kenny Lofton,Penny Hardaway and Neil Lomax.I asked Big Ben about his night in Tiger stadium he said it was one of his college highlites.A real good time hanging with the beautiful people for two weeks.

just saw a large flag held by 5-6 fans wearing LSU gear at the Cubs game while Coach Paul M. sang "Take Me Out to the Ballgame." Coincidently, Theriot led the inning off with a single and scored. Go Cubs and Geaux Tigers!

I live in So Cal and have a buddy that runs the HSN warehouse and I went by to have lunch with him the other day and they were having a clearance sale of team merchandise for the ee's. The Saints, LSU, and Miami Dolphins gear was being sold for $1, ha. Anyway I travel the state of CA for work and there are far more LSU fans in So Cal than Nor Cal. Also several Alumni players living locally such as Jacob O'Hair, Matt Clark, etc.
