Security at Ole Miss Game?

I hope we’re taking Kiffin’s security seriously in week 3. Ole Miss fans are vile and not the brightest thanks to their 100% acceptance rate (land sharks). So he needs a big security detail and a bulletproof glass box when on the sideline.

I’m serious. It’s going to be bad when OM fans see their program collapse back to irrelevancy in real time and they’re going to want to attack Lane when they should be thanking him for turning around a dead end program, kind of like redirected aggression you see in animals.

Take a lap, it’s not that big of a deal.

I know for a fact that Louisiana state police is sending 10 additional units. Doubling the normal amount for a road game. They are doing this for ole miss and Tennessee games

I mean I have “friends” who are pissed at me because “my team stole their coach”. I mean ..

Anyway. I wouldn’t be in Oxford that weekend for a million dollars.

This could very easily happen tonight, in which case idk if they will be better or worse to deal with

Same. I have “friends” that are so emotional and want to take it out on me because LSU hired their coach. Like dude, is that all you have to live for?

I guess I sort of get it. They’ve never had much success and Ole Piss sports is all they have in their miserable lives to root for.

Sorry, not sorry, is how I feel, but ffs get over it.

I know that 2019 and a couple of years anfter, our “house divided” didn’t have tension during OM/LSU game week. Last two or 3 years? Well we don’t talk much. And football never is spoken about. It’s just better that way.

It’s rather crazy. I used to be that fan in all honesty. But then Covid came and we didn’t go to games for two years — wasn’t taking tests or showing vax cards.

So those years showed me it really is just a game and not life (I mean I knew it wasn’t but you know).

I can’t help who our coach is or what he does — what/who I want doesn’t mean squat.

Those “friends” need to grow up. It really is just a game.

Very true. I think OM losing tonight would actually help since they would lose interest and hopefully cool down by week 3.

With cameras everywhere, over/under on assault cases filled against those throwing things at our team?

Sure an Oxford Judge will throw them all out.

Losing tonight will not lessen their interest. They hate LSU .. they could lose every game and not care as long as they beat LSU.

Besides Coaches and team security, I wouldn't be surprised to hear about big fights breaking out in the grove being instigated by Drunk Ole Miss fans.

Hope not but actions of late point in that direction.

Ole Miss fans are bitches. I’d be far more worried about them throwing things at my back than starting a fight

Yea that too. TN game with the idiot statement by their coach regarding golf balls during media days was totally uncalled for.

Right there with ya. Big media has made it worse shock face. Hey Paul. The sec coach talking about batteries for the game against us. Yeah. It only takes one idiot as we have seen before. I would have massive security seen and blended in with lots of cameras.

I'm more worried about Ole Miss' offense than Lane. I hope there are no fatalities.

Yeah it’s a weird culture. Generally very snobby and act like they’re better than everyone despite being the bottom of the barrel. If you didn’t know any better you’d think they were just some legacy UVA student.

I guess what they say is true, low intelligence and low self awareness are directly proportional, and both these traits scare me for week 3 when you have hundreds of thousands of them that concentrated and angry.
