I'm all for aggressive hitting but that's 2 straight batters swinging at a 2-0 count against a pitcher that has control issues. Also, an ump that's already showing a tight strike zone.

Wish Bregs would learn to swing lighter sometimes. Usually all you need is a blooper, not rifle shots.

Ummmm, we're pulling Poche in the 2nd inning of the 1st game...for a guy who lacks control with a ump who has a tight strike zone?

top 2, Grier leading off
Godfrey now on the mound for the LSU Tigers
chopper to Hale, groundout 5-3!

everything that comes off bregs bat seems to come out like it was shot out of a cannon. bloopers are not his style.

Well Poche will be rested for next weekend

I hope Poche is our midweek starter next year, that is where he belongs. I would love a list of everyone one of his SEC starts, bet it's ugly overall.
I Love LSU baseball but does anyone have ANY faith in him coming through in a super or CWS game??

Where in the literal frick is Emma Watson when you need her??

Poche always settles in after the first two innings. I'm a little surprised but perhaps they will want Poche ready for a quicker start
