If an ump makes that call on a routine double play that wasn't a bang bang play at first I have to think he saw his foot off the bag. Deichmann didn't need to stretch like that a normal stretch the guy is out.

I played first sack, hated dumb fricking umpires that thought i pulled my foot because I was wearing cleats. Only explanation. His foot was clearly on, imho.
