LSU never had a chance. It was predetermined that TAM would win.

The refs let aTm convert a 4th and 18 the final drive and let aTm score a 19 yard TD as time expired?

Focus blame where it needs to be. The defense was as unclutch as it could be that final drive in regulation.

Yes, they actually did. That wasn't a 1st down.

It's reported that the yellow line on TV was off by a foot. So, that's why the on the field call wasn't questioned at the time. It was an obvious 1st down. I haven't checked the video to see if that's true.

The ESPN yellow line was wrong.

Here's where the yellow line is on 4th down.

Here's where the yard markers were on 3rd & 18, the play just before, when Delpit broke it up over the middle.

wow, then the refs sure did a shitty job of fixing that game, since they let it go to 7 OTs.

if you look at the screen shots, you can see the chains. The correct first down was at the 43 - the yellow line was off by 2 yards.

If it had been a two touchdown lead it would have been too blatant for them to do anything. But with the game coming down to the wire, they put their thumb on the scale. Over and over.

I WAS a 1st down as the yellow line on TV was wrong ! The 43 yd line was the actual 1st down line, WR caught ball just shy of the 41 yd line. ESPN F'd up on the yellow line which is why fans were all PO'd. (FYI - I too am an LSU fan and was pissed until seeing these pics.)

4th down reception just shy of 41 yd line.

THIS...A million times this. They cheated subtly because they could. Happens all the fricking time. They can't swing a 45-10 kind of game but they have plently of chances to swing a close one. Don't think for a second, after years of game experience that they don't know exactly how to alter the outcome of a game.

It was poorly officiated, but that doesn't give the coaches a pass. We had every chance to win this game.

We gave up a 4th and 18, Chavis style.
We allowed a TD with 1 second left.
We didn't even attempt to score a TD during the 4th OT, when we needed a TD to win.
We did not field a capable punt returner.

All 3 phases contributed to this loss.

the refs made Delpit drop that INT that would have ended the game too.

Is that the same MF’er? If so, he let the WR get away with clear OPI, calls Greedy for a bogus DPi, and then act all indignant when Greedy calls him out on his bias/incompetence (I really don’t care which it is)

Why the huge cushions by the DBs on 4th and 18; amazed by that first pic.

Greedy looks like he’s playing for a Hail Mary
