but how can we judge him when the DL coach is sticking his nose and interfering with the offense all year?
or the fact canada had less talent and experience than what cam and steve had year before. i actually find it amazing canada was able to help etling get the stats he had. even though we knew watching games etling had plenty issues. give him a second year. if it does not work then you can fire him.

Interesting. Both Stud and Cam did extremely well in their first year (2nd and 6th), and both significantly fell off in their 2nd (46th and 48th).
Ensminger was 19th in his first...wonder what his second will look like. One thing is fairly certain...he will have a better QB to work with.

I am amazed what cam did with Brandon harris and Anthony Jennings. Maybe we were too hard on Cam after looking at this. He was a QB whisperer lol

Is it really certain?

Well whichever one of the three wins out will be better material. How that QB is developed/progresses will determine the outcome.

Sometimes being honest is just easier. Sometimes I wish our Coaches were more upfront.
Some Jim Mora honesty would be refreshing. "PLAYOFFS?!..."

I dunno, seems like Kirby's going to give him a lot of trouble.

UGA's recruiting is just unreal. It's even good by Bama's standards. It was only a matter of time before UGA's potential was realized. Looks like Smart is doing just that.

And we hire Orgeron.
I still cry a little bit about that.

Where did he say this?
He didn’t. I misread and then eagerly posted like a stupid ape. My bad. He said SINCE we won it all.

The one season with (Zach) Mettenberger has really been the only time they’ve been able to pressure defenses with the passing game since they won it all. To me it doesn’t matter who the guy is

The feather in O's cap was recruiting. Not gonna lie, he's got his work cut out for him. Saban at Bama, Kirby at UGA, and now Fisher at aggy. I'm pretty concerned about it, TBH, especially if we can't pull some premier wins this season.

Correct me if I'm off with this, but to me, recruiting when you're working for a guy and recruiting when you ARE the guy and don't have anything to show for it is a different beast.

Well, I'm no recruiting guru to be sure, but I think there's a pretty significant difference in being told to go get players x, y, z off the big board, as compared to being in charge of the whole show and telling your recruiters to go get players x, y, z all while managing an entire program.
Just because you're good at a specific role on ship doesn't necessarily mean you can captain the whole vessel.
To clarify, I'm not saying O will fail, just that being a taskee is different from being a tasker.

Not only do you have to convince the kids to come to your school, you have to convince them to play for you. And over to the east, you have Kirby and Saban flashing a smile. Mullen is back at Florida. MSU lost Mullen and are still ranked higher than LSU. Jimbo is now at one of your rivals.
It's a tall order.
It's a tall order.

Agreed, 100%. And what would go a long way to providing us a significant boost on the recruiting trail? On the field results, not pie-in-the-sky promises without results.

Please explain it then. Because it means accomplishments to me.
