Woulda, shoulda, coulda, cues I would have love to see a Slam thru the hoops at the end but it just didn't happen, it sure looked like the alabama guy walked on inbound on their last scoring possession. MF's I hate alabama, always said they should trench the whole state out and let gulf come in??. Geaux Tigers !

The refs let both teams play. Would you rather have a whistle fest which causes constant stops and there's no flow to the game? What a boring game that would have been. The refs did a great job and mostly stayed out of the way like they should. That was one of the reasons that made this game so great. It was a tough, physical game.

You really think what you do in the regular season is going to mean shite if you get knocked out early or gag in the tournament?
Making the sweet 16 is a solid accompaniment to LSU’s regular season sec title. Losing to Yale or Maryland would’ve seriously pissed on that season.

Alabama one this game w 3 pt. shooting (horrible) and layups (spectacular)! LSU has some of the same characteristics w Smart, Days, and Thomas. However, I TRULY wish Watford would NEVER take another 3 pt. shot rest of the season. His percentage of makes is not worth the effort. He nailed one in SEC championship but was worthless afterwards - including free throws! He can flat out take it to the opponent on the dribble. That needs to continue!
