Exactly, which is why Sean giving someone so young so much responsibility is notable

There’s no evidence that this statement is true.

You obviously suck at keeping up because no one has ever said or even insinuated that Brady sucks.

It's a long summer. What else is there to talk about?

If anyone saw the spring game they saw some of the new wrinkles and concepts Brady brought with him from Nola in the passing game. Now how much will O allow to be used will be the thing to look for but the proof will be in the results this season not in Payton or anyone else’s comments.

you do know there is a ridiculously large gap between “God-Savior” and “Sucks”.

and Brady could fall literally anywhere on that scale.

He had very little responsibility’s with the saints. More of a glorified water boy.

Payton probably couldn’t remember the guy they were talking about lol.

So he’s not bringing a first ballot Hall of Fame QB with him?

The, we are having the saints offense is retarded and you will be let down if you think that.

Well, the first play of the spring game was literally a play the Saints are known for, throwing an out route to the running back in space 1 on 1.

They will use some of those things, but yeah it will mostly be RPO's

Sounded to me like Sean Payton was kind of struggling to find words to say about Brady

This.

Hopefully Brady turns out to be all what he's hyped up to be.

I'm not boarding any "offense is back" trains until after we play a couple good defenses.

I guess that I can't keep up because I thought that LSU hired Brady to help implement the offense developed by the former Mississippi state coach. What's his name Moorhead or moorman or something to that effect. I thought that any knowledge picked up while he was with the saints was just icing on the cake.

As far as Sean's comments I seem to remember other comments made by Sean that maybe contradicted or were a little more flattering shortly after or before Ed hired him.

In any event, people don't seem to understand what a passing coordinator does and they don't know that LSU has had one in the past and other teams have them as well. There also seems to be confusion over what a passing coordinator does.

Joe probably won't reinvent the wheel but he will add enough to transform the offense into something our fans aren't used too. This fall will be an exciting time to be a tiger. God willing we'll all be here to see it.

I should add that I am further perplexed by the fact that Brady isn't even actually the offensive coordinator here.
Brady IS the passing game coordinator.

I'm not excited specifically for Joe Brady. I'm excited for the Spread/RPO offense he is bringing. And everything I've heard about Brady says he is the right guy to install it at LSU.

Joe is THE premiere RPO/spread guy in the country.

He certainly may be.

But he doesn't have to be the #1 guy to greatly improve the LSU offense. Just needs to be competent. Sure looks like he is.

just 2 things

Brady was Pete Carmichael's guy, his shadow, not so much sean payton

2, he doesn't really have to have had influence on the Saints offense to bring value. Being at practice, in meetings, in the booth/sideline during games is extremely valuable for someone looking to learn.

I figured Ree or Buckeye or Fat Criminal Derek posted this until I saw the clip. Now I know why he didn’t post it.
