According to Coach O in the Advocate today, "Scott Woodward came up with a plan 2 mths ago.He had the vision to see what was going on , so we had to put a plan together & that plan is being put on place right now & I feel good about it". For point of reference, 2 mths ago J.Burrow had just broken the school single - game for most passing T.D.'s , tossing 6 against Vandy. And Woodward has been here for less than year & he is already making huge impacts on the program.

An AD that's PROactive?? If Alleva found out anybody else wanted Joe Brady his first response would be "frick it, take him, we don't need the headache of a negotiation"

Haha I appreciate what Woodward is doing, but it didn’t take John Madden to realize the value of Joe Brady in early October.

I said the exact same thing the other day. I wasn't certain that this was in motion but I had a strong feeling it was.

It’s not about realizing the value, it’s about being proactive.

When I read the title I though LSU was looking to bring John Brady off the press table and on to the bench as DC

Wasn’t it Alleva who fought off Jimbo for Aranda? Look, I didn’t like Alleva for other reasons, but there’s no reason to just make stuff up.

Woodward ain't letting Brady go unless Brady has too good of an opportunity to pass up. Woodward is the man, so glad we got him.

I think alleva was a relatively sharp guy, but he got lazy and tired of fighting. He seemed like he hated anything with hiring/firing or raises. You know, a critical part of his job.

Alleva would have stepped on his own dick and then walked down the hall and handed Ensminger the AD checkbook and told him to write down whatever he though was fair. This is of course after getting worked over by Jimmy Sexton a couple times with Tim Beck and Darrell Dickey tag teaming his wife while Bo Bahnsen records it surreptitiously from the closet with F.K. Alexander jerking off next to him.

Was that too harsh?

Just one mans opinion.

This just in!

Alleva.

Ethan Albright-level awareness.

Woodward saddled A&M with that albatross contract with an eye to getting back home. Diabolical.

Don’t you think that Woodward did that based on the alumni, etc directions? I was under the impression that he was told to go get Jimbo and do whatever it takes to get him no matter what. I don’t think he was responsible for the choice, only to make sure it happens. Maybe not....
