Woodward had no reason to protect Wade, that was not his guy.
And Wade defied the last AD at every turn when this news hit. So he surely wasn’t helping him either. Wade got bad legal advice and it did not help his reputation at all.

How was MM supposed to recruit with a chance the NCAA could come down with no post season appearances? Once the NCAA thing is finalized one way or the other then his program can be judged. Can you imagine if MM hadn’t brought players from Murray State. Things would be even worse. The Rant meltdown would have put some of you in skilled care.

I can give him a pass on the roster but any average coach could have this team playing at least a little better. I have seen no improvement and what worries me the most is the below average recruiting class he is assembling.
