Football is the most important sport by a mile. You can't colossally frick up the biggest money maker and get a pass regardless of how well baseball or women's bball does.
And frankly, no one really gives a shite about women's basketball. If they ended up having 4 losing seasons in a row, most people wouldn't care.

somewhat...he also pissed some very prominent/wealthy/influential individuals with not wanting Lane last time and making it known he didnt want him this time after he already pissed a couple off my not firing McMahon and wouldnt even entertain the idea of bringing Wade back. that is on top of the political stuff and the people he pissed off are very close to the gov and are in positions to clip Scotts balls once the current governor got in place.

I don’t have a problem with the money part of the contract . I just wouldn’t have paid Kelly that. AGAIN, he is a coach that’s never won a playoff game or an NY6 bowl. I’m fine with that level of pay and contract if it went to a coach with playoff wins, NY6 bowl wins, or national championships. Why is it so hard for you to comprehend? I never once suggested that they pay a coach with the qualifications that I listed any less than they paid Kelly!!! Woodward shouldnt have paid Kelly that because he didn’t meet ANY OF THE QUALIFICATIONS TO JUSTIFY IT !! Get over yourself!!

All this debate about baseball's value to validate Woodward but local LSU reporters say Stephanie Rempe is the reason he hired Johnson. Might as well make her the new AD.

If its true that he wanted O'Sullivan as the baseball coach and that got nixed by the board, then I'm fine with the board, along with others making the call on the football coach.

He's 50/50 in coaching hires. 50% wouldn't fly in any other job in the world. Imagine going to a surgeon who has a 50% success rate!!

I highly doubt we get either one of those coaches , but Kiffin doesn’t exactly meet the criteria I listed but the market is different than it was 5 years ago so it’s gonna take more than Kelly was paid. Lanning would cost even more I would guess.

I am a fan of Woody’s. But, he also stepped on his dick with Men’s bball coach. Regardless, u like him and have no problems at all with him or his performance.
