No not even remotely the same situation. Orgeron was hired to lead a program and recruit this guy is an Xs and Os hire. Nice try though.

Brady drew a ton of his concepts from his recent stint in college under joe Moorhead
Linehan hasn’t coached in college in 2 decades
It was imperative that LSU got a coach that understands what’s working in college these days. And that certainly isn’t what Linehan was doing in the nfl recently
