They have something in common. Neither have had a good offense this century.

wow

what an uninspiring hire. so much for young and innovative. glad to see we're going back to the jerry sullivan approach rather than continuing on the joe brady path

The Cowboys led the NFL in yards per game this year, were 2nd in passing yards per game, 5th in rushing yards per game, and 6th in points per game

Can someone explain to me why he, individually, sucked or does he suck because the Cowboys sucked?

He has an amazing resume, but I’ll admit I was hoping for some young blood.

With that said O is on fire, so I’m cool with it if O likes him

looks like Orgeron is looking for someone who might entrench themselves in the position for a few years rather than using it as a stepping stone.

no real opinion either way, if the offense is already installed, which it is, then they have a really good base to start from and continue on.

We didn’t but I can tell this will be another one of these pumper narratives that makes no sense at all but is defended furiously.

Terrible resume

Not young, not innovate, most likely won’t recruit

That's cute tough guy. Look into him and what his former players say about him. But you pretend to be a online genius.

Aside from the "who" of this hire, this approach doesn't lead to success in general.

I'll give him a chance, b/c Coach O has has been pretty good at his coaching hires lately.

That being said...if Linehan doesn't work out, then I'm hoping Coach O doesn't give him a 2nd year.

I don't really know much about him. Hopefully it works out.
