Brennan rarely threw to Boutte. He had Terrace, Racey, and Gilbert. That’s why I feel Max will be the starter. He has better chemistry with the current WRs. Also I don’t see UCLAs Oline holding up well against our beasts on the Dline.

Not to mention, didnt TAMU barely beat us with our worst team in 20 years? That score really didn’t indicate how close that game was. If max starts instead of TJ we might’ve won.

I don’t think so. We weren’t running it well enough and the conditions were very sloppy. If max avoided the tj mistake then maaaaybe

Sorry but I’m not trusting the D just yet. I know the talent is there and I liked the coaching changes but they were AWFUL last year and I’m not ready to forget that until we see it improved on the field. This is probably gonna be the best team Chip has had at UCLA so far too, they might be a 8-9 win team so they aren’t a terrible team either. Offense should cruise most of the game though, LSU 41-28

I’ll go with 36-23. We’re several tiers more talented but there’s no way we go in and just blow them out with new OC & DC, them having a game under their belt, etc. Close game at half, defense clamps down in the second half and the offense starts converting drives into touchdowns.

34-31 LSU. A ton of offense, and major problems defensively. The score may even be higher.
