If we do get Wade back, can we at least get him some ties that don't hang past his knees?

Harper's habadashery could outfit him with some great threads.

If it plays out like this and we don’t get Wade, that’s a really unprofessional way to handle McMahon. Just fire him now.

Agreed. Getting Wade would be a great result, but this process is bush league. Fire McMahon, go after Wade, and if it doesn’t work out then take a chance on another up and comer.

Just like when he said Brian Kelly would not be fired this season. He absolutely berated another poster for even bringing it up.

I just wish he wouldn't treat people like that. Especially people watching his show.

I think regardless of what they've released to the public, McMahon has been informed they are going in this direction.

Probably some buyout negotiation going on, that's why there hasn't been a formal announcement yet.

At this point, he’s been wrong more than right on coaching decisions.

His sources are Verge and the OLOL CEO...NEITHER of whom wanted this move to happen. You were basically getting their POV of the story. Verge will get the credit, the but the reality is if he had the primary say McMahon would be the LSU HC next season. These moves are being executed by political muscle who wanted Wade at LSU last year. Verge is basically Phillip Green from Casino. He's the "frontman" for the athletic department. The "mob" is actually running the show. He's smart enough to know that, and also that if he doesn't play along he will be "whacked" just like Woodward.

oh dude, the last couple of years he was SO adamant Wade wasn't coming back. Even sent me a text from his text line last year saying specifically "Will Wade is not coming back"

I have a connection close to this situation. Moscona wasn't wrong then. The situation has changed. Wade was supposed to come back next year b/c of the reduced buyouts. Basically, no one thought MM would do as badly as he did this year. And no one thought the boosters would pony up the money to get Wade here this year. It's more than the buyouts. Wade had a number he demanded for his roster. It's significantly more than MM had, and that seemed like it wouldn't happen. As recently as two weeks ago, it was a long shot. A lot has changed in that time, especially this past 3-4 days.

To all the posters that kept saying "Wade will never come back", you've always been wrong. From the moment Rousse was hired, it wasn't "IF" he would come back, it was "when".

Maybe McMahon should've won more games, he'll be taking home $11 million, unprofessional or not, he's getting a great deal I have ZERO sympathy

That's impossible. I was told McMahon had all the money he needed to compete in the SEC. In that case Wade should be a national championship contender, right?

both can be true since ..

1. He stated this the weeks leading up and during AM game.

2. The story broke well before he posted anything.

We shouldn't be unprofessional to McMahon. Sure, he didn't win very much, but he's by all accounts a stand up guy with a great family. Shouldn't be playing out like this.

Hopefully behind the scenes they've already told him he's going to be let go.
