Poor Aggies. You talk about going from the penthouse to the outhouse.
Saturday night there was a huge pep rally and celebration in the hotel lobby.
Then two losses and they lose their coach to their biggest rival.
Loyalty is completely irrelevant in sports these days.

That’s as big a kick in the balls as I’ve seen in a while. He’s been at A&M 3 seasons. In those three he’s been to almost many CWS’s as the program had been to in the 20 years before he was hired. He loses the national championship game by 1 run…then bails for the school’s biggest rival.

But texas is beyond arrogant, entitled, slimy little bitches. Not surprised at all that they'd do this. AND fire their coach just before Game 3 yesterday to get the speculation going.
Bad things happening to aggie is always gonna be funny, but the way all of this was handled by texas is about as classless as you can get.

Texas and A&M are rivals. Texas doesn’t “owe” A&M deference.
The only interesting thing would have been if A&M won last night. Clearly the deal was made before last night’s game. It would have been wild to see him celebrate a championship and bail for the school’s biggest rival literally the next day.
“These guys showed great commitment and perseverance all season. Aggie fans, this is for you! Oh, by the way, I’m moving to Austin because you, your school, and town aren’t good enough for me. Respect my decision.”

You’re gonna have to explain why anything Texas did is wrong? The ADs job is to get the best coach he can get, what was classless? It’s not little league, the coach can tell them he doesn’t want to talk until after the season, clearly he didn’t do that. They owe A&M nothing.

I literally read that in Bart's voice, and then heard the laughing and shouts from the third frame. Haha! Watched too many episodes as a kid.
