Ok LSU lost three games. Those three games HAPPEN to be against the best three teams on the schedule which inflate the SOS numbers.
Daniels is on the team that lost those three games. Hence, saying he played a hard schedule is flawed because the games in which his team WON were against bad competition.

Daniels led LSU to a lead in all three losses vs Top Ten Teams: FSU, Ole Miss (should have won), and Bama; and had he not gotten knocked out against Bama, we may have gotten close at the end.

One could also claim that had Oregon played such a schedule they might have 2 or 3 losses.....and if they had our defense they absolutely would have.
