He also could have come back and torn his Achilles. He might be the 2nd wr taken but he still made the right call.

Chase will still go before him and even if he doesn’t he’s still going to be a top 10 pick and unlike Smith decided to stay home and play for his home state and brought a national championship back to LSU.

There is only one way Smith goes ahead. If Miami passes on Sewell. Bengals aren’t choosing Smith over Chase.

Smith elevated his stock. Chase made the right call. I think Marshall hurt himself by quitting

It’s crazy that despite all this you still have bitter cry baby LSU “fans” that hype Smith more than Chase.

By this logic, every projected first round sophomore should sit out their junior year. I mean, I guess, but it's still pretty shitty for the sport.

Who gives a shite?

He will still go high and make more than you. The real money is in the second contract, so if he kills it for a few years, then nobody will give a shite he was the second receiver drafted.

I really don't think that he hurt himself. Smith likely would've had a better season, and Chase would've probably been compared to him statistically throughout the entire season. I don't see how that would have helped Chase.

Chase left the best season that he could've had as the most recent memory of him. The Dolphins are the only team that I think would take Smith over Chase anyway.

Chase is a quitter

He quit on us and he will quit on the team that drafts him

When the going gets tough chase is gone

So, every player that opted out across the country is going to quit on their NFL teams? Gotcha. Makes sense.

Definitely possible, but by not coming back he effectively took away any opportunity from himself.

I said it when he opted out, he cost himself a good amount of money.
