They did the same thing last year with Ward. Ward was shooting over 50% from the floor and from 3 and had 11 total turnovers during non conf play but wasn’t starting or getting heavy minutes. Anytime someone mentioned starting him they were shouted down saying that Mike Williams was the better option. In the final 2-3 weeks of the season Cook quit and our offense was suffering so after Ward made some key plays to help us win a couple games, in desperation MM moved him into the lineup and he became our second best player. The mcmen praised it as development though it was anything but. Then this fall the truth was solidified as Ward was regulated to the bench then quit proving that last years move wasn’t any part of a development strategy, it was just more throwing shite at the wall hoping it sticks. He never wanted to play Ward and used any excuse to keep him off the floor as much as possible.

McMahon wouldn't know a winning roster if it hit him in the head. That's one of the reasons more NIL money for his use is like peeing into the wind.

He gets a lot less out of any roster he has had at LSU than the majority of SEC coaches would.

Yep, he undermines his teams with his ineptitude.

Yet this place brings him up every time some from LSU missed a shot... LOLOLOLOL. But it's ok if y'all are obsessed with a past HC that wasn't very smart in the illegal recruiting game.

So one guy leads to wins? Never, this guy is not able to lead LSU to even the top 7 in SeC.

People like you bring him up 90% of the time or more as you keep proving in this thread. I never bring him up so including me in your straw man is just another false statement as is your ignorant comment about recruiting.

He didn’t, he floated around the perimeterMiller.

and wasn’t even involved in most ball screens. Great development

Miller was horrible at setting screens to start the yr. Even midway through the yr he was picking up offensive fouls for illegal screens.

He had more than 2 fouls once in a game until late December. Are you saying he was setting so many illegal screens we couldn’t keep him on the floor?

Just trying to help the obsessed keep their hopes alive. You're probably that guy that thinks Woody listens to the posters in this place.

Lmfao or is Robert miller just playing basketball? I don’t think MM has anything to do with his play . Why hasn’t he developed us a JA morant 2.0??

Are you hoping he gets another 3-4 years?

The job as a head coach is to win games spin it anyway you want, aka development of Robert Miller as a player,14-40 in the SEC in 3 years tells you how good a coach he is. Which is he's not good period, fire him and get a coach that wins!

OK, I'll say he's not doing a fantastic job so far.

Because teams are judged on Wins and Losses. That’s the Coaches job, and most of all the reason for hiring. MM shouldn’t be paid 3mill a year with a 9mill buyout just the improve one freshmen from below to mid average player. Have you been talking to SW or attending those meetings where they told the media to spin the added$ NIL ruse so the Admin can hide the facts. MM is a failure, SWs ego, and frankly they really are trying to save a few mill, all the while hiding the truth that they should’ve backed WW, Football investigation, or they don’t give rats fat a$$ about the MBB program.

Ward was getting over 20 minutes until late December, but his minutes dropped because his defense was bad. As i recall Wright wasn't a lock down guy either, but was viewed as better.
