Fournette is finally the beneficiary of a good passing game. I knew, coming out of college, that he would land on a bottom-dwelling team. Those teams always have some type of glaring issue(s). The Jags didn’t have a good passing game outside of a couple games with Minshew. Even then, Leonard put up solid numbers. But, man, I felt bad for him being on that team. He landed in a great opportunity in Tampa. It took time for that team to gel. But they hit their stride late in the season when things came together.
