But having Texas come to Tiger Stadium in 2024 for a night game in Death Valley is gonna be badass.

Basically getting home and home’s we have always wanted regularly. I’m excited for how exciting these atmospheres are gonna be.

Both programs will be very competitive in the SEC. They get a worse reputation than they should for being in the Big 12. Both teams have played us tough in the past with the exception of the 2019 OU destruction

Texas was just lucky they played LSU at home, very early into the season. Eight games in, and that would have been a 20+ point beatdown.

Nah, while they won't do pods, they will try to still get every team to play home and home with every team in a 4 year period. Any player that stays all 4 years should be able to visit every stadium.

Texas and Oklahoma will be cool the first time or two. Then it won’t be a big deal unless the games mean something in the standings. We don’t think anything of playing Arkansas, and their football stature was actually higher when they first joined the SEC. Nebraska is another example in the Big Ten. Used to be a big deal when Nebraska played Penn State 40 years ago.

I think Oklahoma, in particular, is going to have a rude awakening coming to this league. Not saying they’re the next Nebraska but they’re not going to come into this league and stay at the same place their program has been in the Big 12.

Don’t want their trash in the SEC. How did I do?

A&M, Missouri, South Carolina and Arkansas can bounce. Not much for noobs.

LSU/Texas will probably become some sort of rivalry. That’s gonna be a very fun series.

That’s what I really can’t wait to see. Two of the best programs in college baseball history facing off against each other.

We gotta get title number 7 before they do.

I’d rather keep the tradition of football.

I’m concerned about Texas. I know you all think they’re “not gonna mess with the SEC” and all this bullshite, but I’m afraid they’re gonna frick everything up. They have too much money, which begets too much power. This whole fricking thing is a massive mistake.

Within a decade, I'll bet they have everything completely fricked up. And they'll have the right people in high places funding all the right programs and nobody will be able to stop it. It's like watching a car crash in slow motion.

They fricked up the Southwest and now the Big 12. The SEC would be best served to be on red alert.

If the SEC uses the football schedule system the Commish has mentioned several times, LSU will host Texas once every four years and play in Austin once every four years. That's assuming 9 SEC games per year AND Texas is NOT one of LSU's three perms.
