Southern Miss stays alive and knocks out the War Eagles, Gmorgan will be happy.

Auburn was not very good. I’ve been saying it despite their overstated “hot streak” over Ole Miss and Missouri. Not surprised at the 2 and Q

Is it a lightning delay or rain?

It was lightning first then 20 mins later it started raining. Now it is neither from my vantage point in the bullpen lot

ESPN squeeze play is a great way to watch all games

I’ve spent most of my time watching that when LSU wasn’t playing and it’s a good way to keep up with it all. I feel for the desk crew, though. No commercials or breaks and it’s the same 3 all the time for like 16-18 hours. Seems like a tough gig. They need another group of announcers to rotate with them.

Unfortunately, not Hattiesburg anymore. Hburg is experiencing the same issues that many urban areas are now experiencing. I lived in Oak Grove and Petal. Petal, Oak Grove, and Sumrall all can be decent places to live.

Where are you currently living and what are you moving for?

Forgive my ignorance, but it’s been so long since we made it, I forgot. But do they reseed in Omaha or is the bracket permanent all the way through? Like I know we’d play Clemson in Round 1 if we both make it. But would we play Tennessee if they come out of Clemson’s regional and win the Super against whoever winds up winning Auburn’s?

Or let’s say Samford wins the Auburn regional and upsets Clemson/Tennessee in the Super, do they slide into that 4 seed spot in Omaha or is there a re-seeding? My guess is yes, and there’s no re-seeding, but just wanted to get some clarification from the big brains on the Rant.

I am in Pensacola, retired and have family in SE Louisiana. Pensacola (Beach) is nice to visit, I don’t like living here.

Bunch of close games now and really like watching them all on squeeze play. The crew isn’t perfect but it’s pretty entertaining.

Thanks. I was 98% sure that was the case, but just wanted to make sure. If all goes as planned—and it almost never does—Skenes vs. Dollander or this Grice kid from Clemson would make one hell of an opening round matchup in Omaha.

What kind of amenities are you looking for?

One of the reasons we left the area was because it was a little too quiet. We were looking for a little more bustle, so we moved to the Coast. The H'burg area is a great place to retire, imo, though.
