Misiorowski is the only current MLB pitcher I can come up with off the top of my head that was committed to us, but it would definitely help with position players like Turang and Story.

Oh he’s nasty af. I followed him since he was drafted for obvious reasons. Pull up his MiLB stats. It’s like night and day.

Looks like Pittsburgh keeps eyes on LSU pitching. If I am not mistaken didnt we have like 4 ex tigers called up last week or two.

Happy for the Sanders family. Scott has coached a lot of talented Louisiana players. Thibodaux Terror was the real deal back in the day.

He was in the Cubs system for years. They always raved about his stuff, he was hitting 100 at times, but he could not stop walking people, it was a huge issue for him and he never could get past it.

Not sure if he has as a Pirate, but maybe since they chose to bring him up?

Jaden Hill, Cole Henry, Grant Taylor, Paul Gervase, and now Cam Sanders. Pretty close to an entire LSU bullpen in the majors.

Lester is doing his best to remain the top arsehole on TD. There are several longtime posters giving Lester Earl a run for his money. Perhaps a poll for the top position could be held.

I nominate Lester Earl and Geauxdilocks as contenders. Who else?

Related yet unrelated....

Had no idea Mike Napoli was almost a Tiger...

From Wikipedia.

quote:

Born in Hollywood, Florida, Napoli attended Charles W. Flanagan High School in Pembroke Pines, Florida. He signed a letter of intent to play college baseball for Louisiana State, but instead signed with the Anaheim Angels after being selected in the 17th round (500th overall) of the 2000 Major League Baseball Draft.[2]

What I remember:
He had this unique look to him already then added glasses as well.
Every batter was either a strikeout or walk.

Was a lot like Jacob Mayers, had all the tools to be a very good pitcher, just didn't have his control here and wasn't here long enough for anyone really to remember him.

in fairness, he did pitch 3 times in the SECT in long relief and started a game in the regionals. He was basically flawless in the SECT. Pitched 8.1 innings and only gave up 3 hits, no runs, didn't walk anyone, and struck out 12. He turned it on down the stretch.
