I know Diego Sanchez personally. He is a super nice guy. Trust me he is not doing this for attention. He truly loves LSU. Just be happy we have someone who loves this team and is willing to expend all their energy daily and nightly rooting them on. By the way my kids love him to and he has several meals at my house. Good job Diego!

for the record we talked to him for a bit on Saturday and he was super nice. Kids loved the Tiger head to be honest. Dont know if i could take too much of that if i was close and really into the game but i am poor so i will never know.

Yeah, I've gone from not knowing the guy was there, to hearing him just cheer and yell the whole game, to the props and physical antics (jumping up every pitch, waving arms, waving belt, huge tiger head).
There is no way I could be convinced he does not try to draw attention to himself doing these things.
He may be a great guy and I won't say he isn't. I have never laid eyes on the guy besides through a TV camera due to the constant barrage of movement, flashing belt and pacing back in forth that is impossible to not notice when watching the games.
One other thing that bothers me is the guy does the same crap whether LSU is in the field or batting. He yells while the LSU pitchers are working. It has to be distracting to LSU pitchers/players.
Luckily Shemiah is a senior. Hopefully he leaves when she does.

If you didn't see him and only heard him you wouldn't even know he was an LSU fan. He constantly yells the same shite whether LSU is in the field or batting.

Thanks for the link, I watched the 1st half of the 1st inning. All I saw was a lot of passion and support for that team. That guy is really into the game, pitch by pitch. He should be applauded.

He is a complete a-hole. The players actually hate him. they think he is a complete dick head. Yelling at the LSU players while they are trying to execute a pitch or an at bat is the most uneducated, stupid thing a true fan could do. I guess he didn't learn how to properly act at home or in prison. If that was my brother or son I would kick his stupid arse all over the park. Just sayin. Oh by the way, I am more than willing to say to his face. Whats he going to do? Beat me up, rob me?

There is a poster on this board who personally knows the players. He has stated that the guy is tolerated because his sister is a teammate and not because of his non-stop promotion of himself at the expense of the team.
