I don't understand this. I hear gripping about people not being loud enough at football and basketball games. Now you are saying someone is too loud at an LSU game. LOL

This

I was waiting to et to the end of the thread to post - WOW - this is the same board that complains about fans NOT making noise a various events. My take is get an entire section of these.

I would love to know the number of times you have heard softball fans complain about the crowds at softball games. Don't be shy, tell us about ALL the times you have heard the complaints.

Normally at softball games the team leads the fans in cheers. They have chants and cheers that they do - or used to - I very seldom if ever hear the LSU team doing their cheers. Maybe they do and you don't hear it because they had to kill the microphone because of Jack Ripper or maybe he is so loud he drowns them out.

They used to show them with their props - horses head, land phone, aquarium with the goldfish, the moustache and beard, captain America and Iron Man, etc. Which most have been disallowed by the NCAA but one game when idiot fan was not present they actually showed the LSU team in the dugout and they had a few props.

If the team still has fun and cheers, etc you would never know it. They never show them on TV. The REAL STAR of LSU softball is now in the stands.

I guess you missed the long explanation I gave in the post you are replying to?

Even if you think he does it to promote himself, which he probably does, it still doesn't mean there's anything wrong with fans taking pics with him. Obviously those fans think he's a "superfan" and don't care about him cheering too loudly
quote:

Who said he was dangerous?

From last week's thread about him that you were in(ya'll make a lot of them):
quote:

How about we all watch softball, buy tickets, join the booster club, support the team, spend our money at the LSU campus and security deals with this arse so the fans and players can enjoy the game. Or maybe we should quit doing hose things because they will not protect the fans and their game experience. What an idiotic statement. We should quit watching LSU to protect the rights of a convicted criminal and sociopath.

quote:

Sociopathic, loud, poor behavior is the work of the Devil.

quote:

If you don't watch or attend the games I can see why you think "Jack the Ripper" is cool and should be praised.

I don't really care. I think the constant fricking whining about him is overboard.
quote:

I have a problem with the guy because of the distraction he causes.

It's not hard to watch the game over him unless you just want to bitch and moan about him.
quote:

Just the fact that this thread and quite a few others exist about the clown proves that his antics to be the STAR of the LSU softball games is effective and I for one can't wait until they are over.

But do we need the same thread every week? Next week just bump this thread instead of making a new one. There's never anything new to say so ya'll should just stand on this week's statements.

So you joined this thread based on shite you made up?

I didn't see where anyone called him dangerous in all the comments you quoted.

Are you lying and making shite up just for the sake of argument? If so you really are a low-life idiot.

Sociopathic, loud, poor behavior is the work of the Devil.

I don't bring up his record in the weekly Sanchez's brother thread.
If he's a socopathic, work of the devil, who's record must be brought up every week

Have an upvote... I don't often agree with you, but here I do...

And yes there are quite a few long time fans who move to other parts of the stadium, put on headphones and listen to music to drown him out, or quit coming to games. My seats aren't far away but I focus on watching the team and cheering in my own way.

Those that you see near him after the 2nd inning do not have tickets to sit there, but are allowed to because of LSU policy to let everyone move behind home plate and sit in the empty seats so it looks better on tv.

I'm happy for the support of the team, but to me, it's over the top at times.

I agree with you Ree. He is a distraction and an attention whore.
I don’t care what color you are, you act like a clown don’t be surprised when people call you out.

I see both sides of this. We have never seen a fan like him at Softball games. He is loud and makes his presence known from pregame to the last out. Even watching him on TV, you can hear him loud and clear.

However, is it really THAT big of a deal to make a thread every weekend? He is not going to harm you and he is not engaging in any conduct that is extremely problematic, he is just loud. It is clear that Beth, Howard, and Lindsay have not said anything.... and it is clear that Landmark has not said anything, so if they will not say anything, why would he stop?

Our girls are rolling right now and I do not think his “antics” take away from that. We find something to complain about every season, it just does not seem that deep to me.

Just let the guy express himself. Some of you sound jelly. Out obnoxious the dud if you can. I now want to attend a softball game to see this for myself.LOL!
Are tickets easy to pickup out side the game, or should I buy them from LSU?
Do they sell beer?

We have Season Tickets, and to be honest in our seats we hardly hear him at all when at the games, though admittedly we are several sections from him.
BUT
On TV he drives us crazy! Where he is(and are those his seats?), it's all about him,, voice and visual. His placement seems very ironic.

We would love to know how many Priority points he has to get that seat we must admit. We asked to be moved to better seats this year and were denied, but he has sure moved up.

Honestly we always LOVED his enthusiasm, until this year, but the adding of his belt, boxing gloves, and other props have been a bit over the top for us.

Anyone remember Crazy Ray for the Dallas Cowboys? He was a BLACK man that dressed up in western cowboys attire at Dallas Cowboys home games from the 70s to the 2000s. Difference is, he knew when to stop and be quiet. It wasn't all about him, but the team. This Sanchez guy makes you want to leave the game or change the channel!

Someone who owns those season tickets sold him that seat for the entire season. So yes, he paid to sit there.

The horse head I like. It's Felliniesque. The telephone routine however is pure 9 year old Pussy Fart League stuff.
