Do LSU fans congregate at any particular bar in San Francisco? I've seen some inconsistencies. If anyone knows the current bar, please let me know.

My son lives in SF. There's a large group of LSU alumni that go to North Star Cafe @ 1560 Powell St. Classic hole in the wall bar. You'll meet tons of LSU fans that take over the place for LSU games.

Here's a link to the Alumni Facebook page:

Pretty sure the entire SF alumni group had already planned to be in new orleans this weekend.

The North Star is the correct answer. There were 200 LSU fans and one loan gump for the Bama game in there last year. Hella fun and quite loud.

Went to North Star for the Ole Miss game last year. Fun crowd. Limited seating. No bar food at all, though, so eat before you go.

Avoid the Sports Page Bar in the South Bay Area in Mountain View during UF games. They put out an inflatable gator out front to let you know.

Wisky fans also claim that bar as well and are a pleasure to watch football with as usual. They are always inviting. This is 2 blocks from Google. I just worked most Saturdays there, so I never had a chance to make it to SF.

I think what @MondayMorningMarch said is on par with what was popular last year on here.

North Star Cafe is fun, but small'ish. Arrive early if you want one of only a few tables.

Sometimes they have catering set up outside where you can buy food and take it into the bar.

Just realized they also have a bar in the Mission that shows games now too. LINK
