I bet I can field a routine ground ball too. Probably throw it in the shitter, but still. Maybe even catch a pop up. I’m not sure why y’all think these are outrageous claims. Not saying I could get a hit or even put the ball in play. I am simply saying I can probably still lay down a nice bunt. Not because I’m better than ANY of these guys—or ever was—just that I probably had 1000x more reps at it than these freaks who’ve likely never had to.
