Game 1 of the Oklahoma Super Regional when he threw a complete game shutout opposite Sonny Gray is one of the best pitched games in LSU history.
Brett Laxton vs Wichita St in 93 is the only one I can say is better.

It wouldn’t have surprised me if they did that to start the season if only to not make Neal start all 3 weekend games. Apparently he’s advanced enough to handle Skenes, they work well together, and anything extra Milazzo might have given you on defense, paled in comparison to what you lost with his subpar offense.
