I think I understand what you are saying, but if you go 0-2 you have no chance of winning. If you make the championship game anything can happen because it is baseball.

I'm just saying it doesn't matter when you lose, the fact of the matter is that you lost.
I agree. I just think their best chance to get to championship game is by hold Robichaux one more game.

I wouldn't be happy but I also wouldn't be jumping off a building or saying fire the coaches. You have to look at the big picture. Say he starts Ribichaux and they win, who starts on Sunday that is good enough to beat SHSU? Like I said earlier, big Robichaux has to do what pust his team in the best position to win the regional, and sitting Austin for another game gives him his best chance to get to Sunday night.

Robe may have played it right, but would he have played it the same if the 3 seed was Florida? Or South Alabama? I doubt it.

And I do think you have a better chance at beating Nola with your No. 2 than you do coming out of the loser's bracket to win a regional at the Box.

Well as much as I hate to agree with a ULL fan I don't blame Robichaux for holding back his ace. Like he said there are no second place finishes in a regional and the only way for ULL to win it was throw Robichaux tomorrow against LSU and then hope for the best.
Robichaux is a damn fine coach and isn't going anywhere.
