I think the walks and hit batters hurt more than the shelling.

Outfielders should have been playing deep for no doubles to keep the ball from getting to the fence.

still feel worse for the San Fran left fielder for how that game ended... lost the 3rd out of the bottom of the 11th in the sun... allowed the winning run in

I was pulling for Lafayette today.

First, of course, is LSU.

But after LSU, I'll pull for any Louisiana team, they represent our state too you know.

Does ULL just try to hit home runs at every at bat? No plate discipline at all

It looks that way to people who haven't seen them play much, given that they all expect one have a big leg kick. There was a couple of times during the game where most would've expected a bunt but the cajuns didn't have the right guy at the plate to bunt.

Expect Cody Boutte to pitch tomorrow against JSU, followed by Johnny Wholestaff if he get in trouble. That's what gives the cajuns their best chance to win the regional.

i don't understand how ull could have lost. cajun8 swore up and down that ull was the 3rd best team in the 5th best conference. that's an automatic win. ull doesn't need to use robichaux for shsu garbage.

i'm not sure that winning the regional is ull's highest priority right now. i think it's more like survive pesky jackson st and then go from there.
