Kid is clearly pressing. He is a damn good player, despite this boards opinion of him, but he is pressing badly right now

Safford cannot read the ball off the bat to play outfield and can barely throw to first

Because he is clearly pressing

Starter on two state title football teams

Two time all state in baseball

Recruited by LSU and was one of the top players in the fall.

None of those things above “just happen” for a kid that clearly isn’t a very good athlete .

I’m on board woth that. Labas IS an upgrade for the Turf Toddler at the plate.

Thats not how it works. Once you put the DH in the field, you lose it. Therefore the pitcher has to hit
