I don’t think TJ Finley is mad at all since he has been a multi year starter lmao. Terrible example

He was the worst and his replacement will be the 2nd coming of Ed Reed. Thats how it goes around here.

Was this just a copy and paste from last year when he entered??

Either way, it’s a year too late.

It really can't get much worse. Our safeties were constantly out of position, missing tackles, and rarely made a play.

Have we confirmed Major Burns is out of eligibility?

They seem like good kids and representatives of LSU, but the last two years has been painful at safety.

I agree. This whole Covid and NIL thing has kept players around longer than intended. It’s going to be good to have the team be post 2021 players. That being said, Sage Ryan represented LSU very well and stayed committed during a difficult time in the recent program. I’m suspect his leadership was helpful in keeping things together.

Damn, unfortunate but necessary loss. Had high hopes for Sage coming out of H.S. I thought his name, alone, would indicate the next great Tiger.

Dont know what the issue was whether it be his overrated skill set, physical limitations, coaching or scheme but Sage just didn't get it done and he obviously has had enough time to show his worth.

He's leaving bc Kelly and Co. made no bones about it that safety help in the transfer was being prioritized meaning Sage was likely to be the backup or the underdog to keep his starting role.

He should go to ULL with Walker Howard, get a bag, able to start and put a cap on his college career. And who knows maybe he produces to where he gets NFL scouts to reassess his draft stock which is certainly undrafted, at this point.

Good luck to the young man and thank you for the effort you put in trying to be what we need/needed out of the position. The separation will be to the benefit of both LSU and to him as well.

Im not going to pile on a guy that has been a Tiger, but I'm happy he's transferring. He's been a starter, so this may have possibly been Kelly telling him that he likely won't start next season and he should probably skedaddle. Only reason I can see him leaving for anyone except for the NFL.

Nm - deleted after posting, not gonna continue to bag on the kid. He tried and stuck around in some tough situations, but this needed to happen
