Considering the likely scenario of Adams leaving, where are we at going forward? We have Battle starting at FS, but everything else seems open. Which cornerbacks should we see making a switch like Thomas or Mills? How does DBU shape up, thoughts?

I hope to see Monroe out there next season

Paris or saivion could bump battle to SS. Lots of depth in a nickel or dime alignment. We still dbu after all bud

The secondary is a concern for me next year, no true lock down corner and no leader at safety like Adams. Hopefully a couple of guys step up. Maybe savion Smith at corner and one of safety commits come straight in like Adams did as a freshman. Mills is gone and Thomas will be gone after this year.

Thomas is a senior, he's gone too.

Well you have Cam Lewis and Eric Monroe from last years class that were both 4 stars. Then there is Battle and Paris. Plus Delpit and Stevens. This is not to mention and other CB's that could transition over. A lot of young guys in the secondary for sure. Greedy Williams, Fulton, Smith, Xavier Lewis, etc. This is not counting Jackson and maybe Toliver. Probably gonna have some growing pains

Battle, Monroe, Lewis, Stevens, Delpit, Harris(hopefully). Young but very talented.

Mills is gone
Anyways, relax. There are plenty of guys we have waiting for their opportunity to shine in our defensive backfield, we are DBU for a reason. I have heard some good things about Monroe and I wouldn't be surprised to see Paris shine as well.

Toliver needs to wake up and realize he's the most talented CB in the nation and it's his time to carry the frigging torch for DBU.

Stevens, Stevens, Stevens.

I see Xavier Lewis as the next man up along with Monroe and Stevens if he commits.
I keep hearing that Stevens has what it takes to pass some upperclassmen though.

I think its time for Paris to step in as a leader in the secondary. Should be a safety and not a corner

Stevens is going to be awesome. I watched him play a little this year and was impressed.

Stevens will be starting mid year. Too good to keep off the field

X Lewis looked real bad against A&M took terrible angles to the ball carrier didn't even touch running back on 2 plays hope somebody else can step up at safety
