MVB would have gotten his opportunity by now with Saban calling the shots.

and steve spurrier. the ole ball coach did NOT put up with this BS from his QBs. he benched them and rotated all the time when needed.

Steve woulda benched nuss' arse to send a message.

I would have taken Saban back at any moment later he left. I have hated every head coach since then.

Let's not kid ourselves. Joe burrow and joe brady were the reeason 2019 happened.

let's break that down.

Miles was not a hire i liked. but saban left us in a bind leaving on christmas day. I wanted spurrier or someone else.

O was a terrible hire resume wise.

I wanted CUM or CCP or someone else over CBK but here we are. and it is not looking good.

we had two retards win nattys and right now it appears kelly cannot get it done. so our natty streak from saban on MAY come to an end.

next hire needs to be a homerun hire if we are held hostage 4 more years due to this buyout BS woody fricked us with.

He's more stubborn than either of them

saban can still coach. that much is a no brainer. his age means nothing.

he would just need others to handle the NIL and portal BS.

obviously he did not like all that and bailed when you basically have to re-recruit all your players each year plus fill spots from guys who bail.

huge headache.

Except in the Miami Dolphins organization
Given more time, I think he would have. He just didn’t want to spend more time there.

It’s the shitty offense. It’s Kelly having a team that never seems prepared properly. It’s the way Kelly is handling the entire Nuss situation. It’s the lack of physicality of the O-line. Theres lots of reasons for the bitching by fans.

Allow me to pile on to this already excellent list of grievances . . .

Tiger fans are angry because:
a) Low flyin' Brian had 31 yrs of HC experience when he came here. He was given a $100/10 yrs contract. He botched his staff until this day. Rookie mistakes. And he doesn't get the benefit of rookie mistakes. He was supposed to be Nick Saban stuck in a ND body.
b) We are one of the most poorly coached teams in the SEC when it comes to fundamentals. We've been a parade of poor coaching for more Saturdays than I care to count.
c) We're trapped in this stoopid contract. No matter how much we complain nor how poorly we play of nor how bad we become, we're stuck.

The off field staff Austin Thomas has together could handle everything and Saban could just pick players and coach.

I don’t think he wants to coach in this era of college football. He would have never left Alabama if he did. It’s a shitty time to coach. The money is great, but everything else sucks.

Saban retired because he didn't want to coach in the NIL ecosystem.
