Saban unable to attend reunion, sending video to team instead

Here is what Saban said tonight about the 2003 national championship team.
He was invited, can't come, but is sending a video for the players to watch in private.

My goodness I wish Saban would have attended. Could have been the most epic moment since USC was announced on the loud speaker that they had lost in 2007

The 2003 Team will be honored at the Florida Game? Or is this a private reunion?
My only thought is that we're honoring our Championship team at the game vs. the team that was their only loss that year. Just saying....

I still have respect for what he did for LSU, b/c of him we've had the greatest run in the programs history....but saying that means I have his "junk" in my mouth.

Leaving is one thing. Leaving for another job, failing, and then taking a job at a hated school in the same division is another.
The praise we had for Saban, he earned. The hatred we have for Saban was earned entirely by Saban. The Nick Saban we knew and loved died the minute he signed the dotted line at Tuscaloosa.
No matter the reason that he took the Alabama job, he still took the Alabama job. And for that, he deserves all hatred we can possibly provide. I wish him, and every coach of every Alabama team until the end of time, the worst.
