Honestly spend NIL money on one stud power hitter, 2 solid defensive minded corner infielders and the rest on pitching. I like what most of the youngsters bring to the table.

Jay has something to work with with these freshman. Took Miss state to the wire at their place all 3 games and they just 2-0 Texas on the road. Now looking good against another SEC team even if they may not be great. Need to to go out and only get transfers who are from higher profile programs imo

They add some excitement to the lineup and actually play with some fire as opposed to Carraway, Yorke, Simpson who just struck out on 3 pitches and back to the dugout.
