I like RC. A lot.

But this post hits it right on the head. Work for good

When the program needed him. He wasn’t there.

Here's my thought on all of this

I have no problem with O showing his support for the President.... He is allowed to have his opinion, this is a free country.

I have no problem with the players marching either.... They are allowed to do this and have their opinion. One again it was peaceful and this is a free country.

If I was trying to treat these young men like my son, I would do everything I could to understand their opinion and stance on something. And I would support them for the greater good especially in a year that has been as challenging as 2020.

Look you don't always have to agree with your family on everything, but letting them know you got their back from a support stand point is one of the most valuable thing you can pour into that relationship.

I'm not in the lockerroom and neither are most of us, the one thing that is clear is O missed the mark along the way. His job is one team one heartbeat, he missed it on that side of things, and created division in that lockerroom by doing so. Maybe focusing on your team more than your personal life, would have yielded you a different result. That's what got O here in the first place. He is the man in charge, the CEO of LSU football, man you can't screw up the team chemistry especially when you are the one directing that ship. The buck always stops with the man in charge.

As for RC, man he does add a stupid amount of unnecessary fuel to fire for sure. I don't necessarily disagree with much of what he said today, problem is he had already said to much negative up to this point, But he should have told O let me come in their and help man, these guys and recruits that have spoken to me are voicing problems, can I do something to help my University which I represent. If RC cared about LSU the way he says he does, he would have offered his criticism in person and behind LSU's doors.

Just my 2 cents

Agreed. Today he was positive and supportive of O. Said he needs to repair relationships and deserves the opportunity to make things right!

dude, just say their names, lol. pretty obvious Stevens and Cox are 2 of em. I can guess the other, but his name has already been dragged in some rumors unnecessarily on here recently.

You must've heard a different interview. What are the great things that other head coaches have done? Crickets. All I know is that antifa & esp blm leaders have said they are self avowed marxists & have looted, burned & destroyed many black owned businesses all year w/o any SJW or democrat coming out & saying it was wrong & criminal. History is a big issue. Most people don't know what it is to live in a socialist country. It is not taught in today's govt schools.

I agree with this. He has a line to the program and if he felt there was a divide brewing he could have let the coaches know.

Bottom line is this team full of black players and we are recruiting a ton of future black players. O and a bunch of "fans" better find a way to at least acknowledge their pain and frustration or you might as well cancel LSU football as you know for at least 5 years. You need them as much as you don't like.

Future players will have similar feelings if other events take place that they feel strongly about. You don't have the right to tell them how to feel. Either stand together in solidarity and unity or find something else to do because we will start losing recruits if this is in fact the reason for our poor season. I want to see us continue to pull in top black recruits along side everyone else, but this has to be cleaned up or that is at risk.

Everyone doesn't have to go stand and march with them, but you don't have to stand or march against them either. O should have stood in unity with his players. He had every opportunity to push for a message of unity over anything else. He missed.

didn’t Cox just say in player interviews this week that whatever happened this summer was resolved and over with?

If he is one of the leaders, wouldn’t he be more pissed

I agree Damone it's much more difficult to be a part of the solution...... Than add fuel to the fire, which RC seems to gravitate too. Your love to LSU should be greater than your love to talk about the University.

Granted I'm assuming RC didn't reach out and ask to help and be a part of the solution
