That was pretty harsh how he came at Lawrence.

Nonetheless, Geaux Tigers!

Just watched it. Clark made himself look like a complete idiot. It was embarrassing. I legit think the only reason Spears backed him up a bit was because of the LSU connection.

The guy beat Alabama for a title as a true freshman, and led a game winning drive just two weeks ago against a stout Ohio State defense. How is that not showing intangibles?

This is the first time he’s been beaten as a starter in over two years, and it was against a team many people are saying is the best ever. That’s somehow a knock against him?

Ryan Clark just judged Lawrence on a scale the likes of which I’ve never seen anyone other qb b judged.

Trevor Lawrence is a punk bitch, and I'm thrilled we have ambassadors like Ryan Clark to say as much on national television.

I wish some of our former players would just STFU to be honest.

He actually said he coached against him in 7 on 7 and said he has elite arm talent. He said he’s still missing something which he is. When Lawrence is rattled he loses composure. He showed that in many games this season. Clark was simply stating that's why Burrow proved he was better because he has all the tools. He also went on to say Lawrence is young so he will develop more. It’s like you guys hear what you want.

Hey may have stretched it a little bit. But he gave Trevor tons of credit from 7 on 7 camps he coached where he basically told his DBs he has no way he can help them stop some of the throws TL was able to make.

But Trevor got bailed out by his receivers last year in that Bama game a good number of times

I think the bigger point is, how terrible his schedule is year to year. And he is essentially 2 of 4 on having a good big game. (He won the OSU game, but his QB play was pretty lack luster from a throwing aspect).

Trevor plays a weaker schedule - FACT
He greatly benefits from a solid OL - FACT
When pressure gets to him he's not the sharpshooter critics think - FACT
We brought him to earth and exposed him.

Meh. He's a very good player that had an off night thankfully. He'll probably be the #1 overall pick in 2021.

One thing you'll notice a lot with the play calling from Alabama and Clemson is the majority of the passing yards come from shorter throws and letting the 5*s do the work. Ryan Clark isn't wrong tbh when the game came down to having to make big time throws around the sticks....

Why is he a punk bitch? He destroyed a Bama team people thought were untouchable last year and was undefeated as a QB at Clemson. He lost last night and praised LSU for being a great team and said they have a lot of class.

I mean he didn't have a great game but we all know the reality is that his team was overmatched on both sides. Personally I think he'll be a top tier NFL qb for 10+ years

RC was harsh but he wasn't far off the mark. Against teams with secondary talent comparable to the talent of his receivers, he hovers right around 50% completion rate and hasn't touched 30 points. The only outlier is Bama last year and that was against the same trash DBs they had this year. Only they were a year younger.

He compared Lawrence to Ryan Leaf. Basically said he’s just a guy who looks good throwing the ball in warmups, but doesn’t back it up on the field.

This is a huge point. People thought that Bama team with a stud qb like Tua was unbeatable. The kid was talked about as possibly the most talented qb anyone has ever seen. He loses one game to arguably the best team ever, and now he’s Ryan Leaf.
