I voted for Duke. I couldn't stand him. I couldn't stand Edwin Edwards. Edwards was the reason our state was held back; not just him, people like him. My theory was that if duke won he would be ostracized, marginalized and eventually impeached. Whereas, if Edwards won he would ruin the state. And that's just what happened.
