You’re a complete idiot if you think chase did this cause of Ryan Clark lmao
I don't think he had anything to do with Chase either...but, what he did over the last several days is much worse.

Somebody break this down for me, cause I’ve been dealing with hurricane shite the last few days. Let me preface this with saying I fricking loathe Ryan Clark, and this is not a new opinion of mine. He’s fake as frick, thinks he’s way smarter and more important than he really is, and is just an overall fricking douchebag. And if I happened to be teetering on my feelings towards him, his antics leading up to the NC this year cemented it. Did y’all see how much he showed his arse the day of the NCG? It was embarrassing for him.
That said, Dude is not even aware of my existence and I don’t hate on his success in the slightest. I can’t stand him, but that’s just me. RC should just do RC.
Now...how in the world is he to blame for Chase opting out? I’m not even saying he’s not—he may 100% responsible. But how? I’m not able to wrap my head around this connection that seems to have accompanied just about every post regarding Chase. Walk me through this. I am completely confused.

A message has been sent that Tiger Nation will not put up with ANYONE trying to undermine the spirit of ONE TEAM ONE HEARTBEAT. Ryan Clark is getting what he deserves for thinking he is bigger than the program. He is getting what he deserves because everyone is sick of the race card beijng played - he played it to get what HE WANTED and to make an innocent man look racist.

RC has been spouting off divisive shite on twitter about O for a while now. Most notably to me his unhappiness at coach o because he thinks trump is “doing a good job,” his disapproval of how coach o is handling these “social injustices,” and his tweet about how coach o “should not be leading young black men.” I think most of us think he’s driving a wedge between the team and with chase opting out/potentially opting out this is the fear of what could/will happen when someone like RC does BS like he’s been doing

Based on his social media posts (available in the other thread) he basically threatened to sabotage Coach O (and subsequently LSU) by pressuring current football players to walk. Based on the 180 by Chase, he seems to have been successful. His reasoning...Coach O appreciated Trump’s stance concerning playing college football. Now, evidently Ryan Clark is deleting posts and denying that he had anything to do with it.
FWIW, I don’t blame Chase for deciding to protect his future. He has the right to self determination. If it is as alleged (which seems to be that he was coerced to not be an “Uncle Tom” by supporting the racist Coach O....as determined by the bigoted Ryan Clark) then I truly feel sorry for the young man being put in this situation.
On another note, good luck with everything as it relates to recovering from the hurricane.
Peace and prayers amigo.

1) Ryan Clark didn't "get" anything other than a bunch of whiny, paranoid weirdos speaking negatively about him on an anonymous internet blog. Clark is a millionaire ex-pro football player who makes money to talk about sports on TV and whose son is a D1 college football player. He is living a life most on here could only dream about. He lost nothing because of these allegations
2) Clark is not a "race baiter" because he chooses to talk about racism publicly. You guys would call almost every person who played football or basketball for LSU a "race baiter" if they all revealed their true feelings as often as Clark.
3) There has been no credible proof anywhere that Clark had anything to do with Chase deciding to leave. Chase probably is seeing the writing on the wall that anyone with half a brain can see. The season will be severely compromised (if it continues at all) and there is no reason for him to continue playing. He is already a top 10 NFL Draft pick and honestly he has a greater chance of hurting his draft stock than improving it by playing this season. This is a 20 year old kid who is making a career decision. The same way we all make career decisions every day.

Coach O was doing an interview about the possibility of CFB playing in fall. During the interview, he was asked about POTUS comments and support to them playing. Response from O, “I love it, I love Trump and what he’s doing...he treated us very well on our visit to the WH”.
RC then tweeted he was done with LSU, getting rid of LSU gear and the “boot” needed change. Also he was calling admin, coaches and players about his concern and implying O was racist and didn’t care about his black players.
Before last year, he said LSU staff was too white.
“ O did not lead the team today as we saw many other Head coaches spearhead meetings, & movements. He also never spoke on protest following George Floyd’s murder. His only recent remarks were about the his love for the President. Never about leading his young black players as men”
“ Of course it was PLAYER LED!! So proud of you boys.. Encouraged by your courage, your heart, & your voices. Y’all need me, I’m here for all of you!! I love y’all. A true leader’s leadership doesn’t start with “we need football!” Blessings”
Just some of his passive aggressive tweets to undermine Coach O.
I don’t think RC influenced Chase...but RC is sowing Division with his Wokeness off a nice comment towards the POTUS.

One look at his twitter proves this is true. The Rant has a Politics board to separate sports from, screwed up, politics. Ryan Clark is allowing his political agenda to damage LSU.

Why are you the arbiter on who can have opinions? Does this also mean that Ryan Clark can have an opinion, since he has worked?
Also, it's hilarious that you big-time college football players haven't worked a day in their life.
