IMHO, sometimes the cat just tires of toying with the mouse . That is what I see. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

Here is what Russ (great analyst imho) thinks: LINK

For LSU, it’s another W. Still, one can’t help but feel the Tigers are once again missing something – something that’s holding it back from elite status.

Legit article. We'll have to put together a complete game to beat UGA, Bama, A&M, and probably Ole Miss.

Beating a SEC opponent by two TD's and people still find a reason to bitch.

It's a legit criticism. It's not bitching.

We've lost focus in every game so far. We can't afford to have those kinds of mental lapses against the tough teams on the schedule, one of which we play on Saturday.

Folks, this year's team is young in key positions on defense...There is improvement week over week as competition improves. It is evident no one has replaced Mintor or Reid at this point...but Chief is coaching up what he has for now. The future is bright...

No shite. You expect to be up 21-0 on UGA, Bama, A&M, Ole Miss, UF???

Partially true. Like when the Auburn punt returner waved fair catch, our two guys in his face looked away, and the punt was muffed. Honey Badger would have gotten 6 off that.

And we expected a first year coach at Auburn to give up the game once down 21-0. You know, like a div 2 team...or like we did 1/9.

Is being tied 21 - 21 with north Texas at halftime lacking mental focus and killer instinct? Cause that's the situation Georgia was in.

He is acting like there are a bunch of teams with no weaknesses. We don't have to be flawless, we just have to be better than the team we are playing that day.

The article is about LSU, not Georgia.

I'm aware of that but the same thing can be said about 99.9% of teams out there. And the article is implying that we are missing something that we need to be successful every week.

It's not LSU vs LSU. We just have to be better than the team we play that week. What have you seen that makes you think we can't do that? Because we haven't been absolutely dominating? Neither has any other team in college football including the number 1 team in the country.

Well, just because he pointed out something that appears to him to be a weakness, doesn't mean he's a douchebag, he's a writer looking for an angle. And I would say, his angle is not too far off. It's a fair point to make. LSU can still be a very good team but that doesn't mean we are perfect.

on special teams, yes. But outside of a KO return td and blocked punt td, georgia's offense and defense both dominated for 60 minutes. I'd def take their performance over ours.

that being said, I'd take our game over both bama's and A&M's. Both of those teams have done absolutely nothing this season to justify their ranking. fricking 66 rushing yards against colorado state...unreal

First of all I didn't say anything negative about the guy writing this.

All I'm saying is that this article is pretty pointless. You could take out "LSU" and insert any other team in this article and it would have the same effect.

He says "does LSU lack that killer instinct? The jury is still out"

That's some profound insightful shite right there, especially after the 4th game of the season.

I think the jury is still out on every team. Wether it's lack of a defense, weak schedule, no offense, or lack of killer instinct.

Last night was so frustrating to watch. Just play your game for 60 minutes. frick.

You know, miles being miles is not fun. Blame it on the rain or whatever but butts in the seat leave when they are not entertained.

Yeah. A win is a win, but I want to be fricking entertained. That is the whole point. Miles could give a frick if I'm entertained. The whole second half was horrible.

Keep doing shite like this and it becomes habit and not a good one.

miles always sits on a lead and tries to run out the clock with his running game, Opponents realize this stack the box and three and out defense back on the field they get tired and soften. Just ignore the score stick with the game plan and they outcome will be better for LSU and it's fans.

This article is not fair at all.

Someone explain to me how LSU is more deserving of this stupid criticism compared to the other conference contenders like Bama, UGA, and A&M. The only thing that makes LSU the target for this type of article is the fact our fan base is full of a bunch of negative nitpicking assholes that will eat this article up.
