....anyone know the record for run ruled games in a single SECT? We are at 3 and about to have a 4th.

I would also like to know record for total of number of run rules in 1 tourney.
I would imagine we are the only one to have done it back to back.

I would think we are getting pretty close. Remember the tourney used to only be 8 teams AND the run rule used to not be around for the semis and finals.

Game 1 was 12-3, no run rule.
Bigger accomplishment is that LSU is currently on pace to set the record for run differential. The 1980 Vandy team has the record at +27, if I remember correctly. LSU is currently at +30.

I believe you're right. I think Vandy scored like 60 runs in the 1980 tournament.
